How to Read the Fool

The Fool is card zero — unnumbered, unburdened. In most decks, the figure stands at the edge of a cliff with a small pack and a dog nipping at his heels. He's looking up, not down.

That upward gaze is the whole card.

The Fool doesn't predict disaster. It marks a threshold. You're being asked to step into something new before you can see where it leads — and to do so with trust rather than naivety.

When the Fool appears, the question isn't "will this work out?" It's "are you willing to go?"
