Card XVIII — the dark night. After the Star's hope, the Fool enters the most disorienting part of the journey. The Moon teaches that some passages require walking without sight.
A full moon hangs between two towers. A dog and a wolf howl at it from either side of a path. A crawfish emerges from a dark pool. Nothing is what it seems. The Moon is the card of the long, uncertain night — the period when you can't see clearly, when fears take on shapes that may or may not be real, when the only way forward is through territory you can't map.
This is a preview. The full Torch experience includes symbolism deep-dives, spread practice, journaling, and a structured path through all 22 cards.
